What is IsraeLive‭?‬

IsraeLive is a new seminary where all classes will be given live, in a virtual online classroom so that you can have access to the amazing Israel seminary teachers, even from abroad. You will have the opportunity to develop a personal kesher with the staff, to tour Israel online, to get to know your classmates, and to do it all from the comfort of your home.

Can this all really be done online and from abroad?

Yes! This is not just a chance to watch a bunch of classes online. You will be part of an interactive experience for an entire nine months of growth and learning. You will not just be watching a teacher give a shiur – you will be part of it! And with our exciting activities and programs, you will be entertained as well as inspired.

Who is IsraeLive for‭?‬

IsraeLive is for Jewish women who have just graduated high school and have not had an Israel Seminary Experience. Our students are serious about their academic standards and their halachic standards, and are interested in a year of commitment to learning and growth.

What type of education will I get at IsraeLive‭?‬

The course schedule is made up of an even mix of Tanach, Mussar, and Halacha classes, giving you a well-rounded education to build your own Jewish home, b’ezras Hashem. But the education you get does not only go as far as the “classroom.” With personal access to our incredible mechanchot, you will have the chance to develop yourself individually at your own pace with proper guidance. Programs and projects throughout the year will take your growth and learning to the next level so that you can achieve your goals and more.

Why would I be part of IsraeLive when I could just go to Israel‭?

You wouldn’t! At IsraeLive we know that the best and most authentic Israel experience can and should be gotten by coming to Eretz Yisrael. Unfortunately, this is not always feasible, and we are offering IsraeLive as an option for those who cannot attend seminary in Israel.‬

Why would I be part of IsraeLive when I could just watch classes online‭?‬

IsraeLive is much more than online classes. The shiurim are given in real time and allow you to interact with the teacher. The year’s schedule is filled with extracurriculars so you experience a full program. You will get to know the teachers and students and complete the year together.

Will I get college credit for IsraeLive‭?‬

Yes! After completing our program you will be able to obtain a transcript with up to 20 credits which is accepted at many colleges across the United States. We offer college guidance as part of the program to assist you in completing your degree by taking courses outside of our program, with other institutions. Since our schedule is half-day, you can use your free time to take courses at any local college as well.

How much does IsraeLive cost and what does tuition include‭?‬

The full cost for nine months of class is $7,850. Tuition includes all courses, extracurriculars, and a final transcript worth as much as 20 college credits.

What is the time commitment of the IsraeLive schedule‭?‬

There are 16 hours of class offered per week (4 hours a day) with a minimum requirement of 12 hours of class per week (3 hours a day). Courses run from 12pm ET - 4pm ET, Monday thru Thursday, with occasional night class and extracurricular hours. The schedule also includes optional meeting time with mechanchot.
